Around 2017, I watched the teaser for Bladerunner 2049 and was upset—it didn’t look good. But years passed, the movie came out and got some good reviews, so I figured I’d watch it one day.
I watched it on the plane and let me tell you, it was worse than I could have ever imagined!
#modern watchers: the relationship between deckard and rachel is supposed to be romantic but it has pretty bad overtones to the modern viewer#especially since he can legally kill her with no ramifications and acab babey#2049: no actually their love is so pure and miraculous. also the theatrical release ending is canon now for some fucking reason.#it would be an F but the dog was cute so it’s a D. but wow.
